RANCILIO COMMERCIAL ESPRESSO MACHINES

From the Classe 5 through to the multi-boiler Specialty RS1, Rancilio offers a broad professional range for different levels of commercial espresso service.

The Rancilio range gives businesses a wide choice of traditional espresso machines without having to move between manufacturers. The models we supply include the Rancilio Specialty RS1 together with the Classe 20, Classe 11, Classe 9, Classe 7 and Classe 5 ranges, covering different group configurations, control systems and levels of brewing technology.

That breadth is useful if you already know that Rancilio is the direction you want to take. Instead of asking whether a commercial espresso machine is appropriate in general, the question becomes which Rancilio model best matches the level of service and control required.

From the Classe Range to Rancilio Specialty

Within the Classe family, the machines step through different combinations of group sizes, boiler capacities, displays, brewing controls, steam options and operator features. The Classe 5 provides the more straightforward end of the range, while models such as the Classe 9, Classe 11 and Classe 20 add further control, interface and workflow functions.

At the more advanced end, the Rancilio Specialty RS1 uses independent brew groups, a multi-boiler system and advanced temperature profiling. It is designed to give coffee professionals finer control over extraction while retaining the workflow features expected from a commercial machine. The RS1 is also currently listed by the Specialty Coffee Association as an SCA Certified Commercial Espresso Machine.

Choosing Within the Rancilio Range

The individual Rancilio models above vary considerably in size and electrical requirement as well as features. Some are offered in several group configurations, including compact, tall-cup and larger multi-group versions. That makes the detailed specification important when comparing two Rancilio machines that may appear similar at first glance.

For a smaller operation, a compact or lower-group configuration may provide everything that is needed. A busier coffee bar may instead place greater value on additional groups, steam capacity, display functions or the more advanced brewing controls available further up the range. The aim is to choose the Rancilio specification that will actually be used rather than simply moving to the highest model.

Rancilio Equipment with Local Support

The Coffee Company has been a family-run coffee and equipment business since 1994. We can help compare the Rancilio models against the practical requirements of your site, and our support extends beyond supplying the equipment: we provide barista training for our coffee wholesale customers and have our own workshop and trained engineers based in Newton Abbot.

You can explore the individual Rancilio machines above for their features, dimensions and electrical requirements. Rancilio Group also publishes further manufacturer information across its professional espresso-machine range.

If you are still comparing manufacturers rather than individual Rancilio models, our commercial espresso machines overview explains the wider choice between the Rancilio and Crem ranges. If Rancilio is already your preferred direction, speak to us about your expected demand and service style and we can help narrow down the models.
